In October 2020, the Glass Fire devastated this beautiful property on top of Spring Mountain. With views towards St. Helena, this family compound included a main residence, an accessory dwelling unit, a tiny home, and a barn (where one son ran his carpentry business). ChandlerWorkshop was commissioned for the ADU rebuild.

Retaining the agrarian feel, the ADU has an open kitchen, living, dining room with a fireplace anchoring the gable end. Because this parcels’ steep topography and need to maximize buildable area, the second story bedrooms sit above the 2-car garage, which also allows for stunning views up valley.

Now in construction, the ADU is expected to be completed by Spring of 2023.
