Angwin Pool House & Terrace

It started with a pool remodel and turned into a much larger contemplation of the space as a whole. Two small structures on the North end of the pool are connected by a corrugated metal trellis to create the perfect shaded lounge area. Reclaimed Ipe siding (from the previously existing pool deck) clad the buildings in a minimalist fashion. One of the buildings includes an awning window, inviting you to take a seat at the indoor/outdoor bar. On the interior, a prep kitchen has all the supplies for your beverage of choice.

The other building houses pool equipment with storage room for pool floaties and patio furniture.

The natural grade encouraged the design to incorporate terracing, thus forming separate areas, including a bocce court, fire pit and garden. Large steel planters encompass wood benches to provide additional lounge space. Rustic yet elegant, this pool terrace will be everything you need on a hot summer day. Completed photos coming soon.
